Best Veggie Burger in Kanata with great customer service.
I had “weeds” salad, and it exceeded expectations, portion size is to feed to 2 adults, impressive! Or maybe 3 not very hungry ones :) the grilled chicken was perfect: juicy, just the right tenderness, fantastic! And yes, the second part of the salad will be my dinner for tonight ;) thanks ;)
There is always a reason to come back, the food there is absolutely delicious. We will never be tired of the rings and fries, all burgers are heavenly made and I do recommend this place to anyone looking for a burger joint with quality food.
I ordered the War Pig burger with Poutine. Very flavourful. Staff was helpful in finding a burger from their extensive menu. Quiet location, clean tables, and polite and friendly staff. Not a fast food place, but I was able to get my take out order in about 10 minutes after placing it. Cost was slightly higher than other sit-in restaurants for a single meal but good value for what I paid.
We got their 'Son of a Beech' burger; both their veggie patty and chicken breast burger options are great! Surprisingly, we prefer their weeds over the fries as a side, it is super fresh and tasty. Our favourite dressing/dips are the W sauce, Beechhouse, and Bacon roasted garlic aioli. We've also noticed that they package the takeout really well. While it is a bit on the pricier side for us, the quality and variety are higher than your average burger joint.
This chain has been long-time favourite for years. Although the menu is shorter than I remember, there is still quite a variety. Vegetarian and vegan options available (impossible burger can be substituted for any beef burger). Fries are also endless, everything is delicious and the service is super quick and friendly. High chairs and outdoor seating available.
The hamburgers are amazing and the service is great. That said, it's a bit on the expensive side. And they close early some days so, be aware of that.
Despite the drive home, the food was still hot. The burgers were properly cooked and not flat, overcooked or dry. They were still juicy and delicious! The onion rings and fries were also delicious. The milk shakes were tasty and just thick enough. Gail was very friendly and helpful. I'll be back.
